Join us for a night of sip and spin (BYOB) as we walk you through the basics of wheel throwing!  In this one-time 90 min. session your instructor will guide you through the basics of how to center the clay, pull walls and shape the clay using a pottery wheel. 2nd Annual Cheyenne Wordeo Scrabble Tournament and Fundraiser - Cheyenne Scrabble Club

This is the 2nd annual Wordeo, now being held annually on the Saturday closest to National Scrabble Day. All proceeds go to the Cheyenne Lions Club vision grant to help low income folks afford eye exams and eye glasses. Scrabble players of all skill levels are invited to participate. Come from around Wyoming to be crowned the first official Wyoming Scrabble Champion!

Understanding Dyslexia: Parents & Educators - Laramie County Library

All are welcome to the Understanding Dyslexia where Kari Roden, who is a board member of the International Dyslexia Association, will be presenting dyslexia simulations. There will also be resources and presentations for parents of struggling readers with a guide to the students path of Pauls Mountain. We will also have resources for educators who desire to learn more about structured literacy and the Barton Reading & Spelling System! We will be in the Cottonwood Room at the library, bring a friend and learn about dyslexia!
