Better Eating Bento Workshop - The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens

Looking for a way to change up what you bring to work for lunch? Why not take a cue from the Japanese tradition of bento? Forest Aker and Director Scott Aker will guide you as you create an interesting Japanese-style lunch. Each participant will get a reusable bento box and we'll learn how to prepare delicious, fun, and interesting components to arrange in them. Learn about the importance of sushi-grade rice, how to bread and fry with panko, make sauces to your own taste, and create some cute vegetables with bento cutters—limited to 12 participants. All kitchen equipment and ingredients are provided.

ESPC's SHAPE Wyoming Citizen Lobbyist Training - The Louise Event Venue

Equality State Policy Center (ESPC) is a non-partisan coalition-based organization that advances fair elections and transparent government in support of all Wyoming communities. 

On January 19th, join ESPC for their annual SHAPE training, a comprehensive program designed to equip you with the skills and confidence needed to engage effectively in Wyoming's legislative process. You'll learn directly from seasoned advocates and experts about lobbying, testifying, and building impactful connections with lawmakers.
 
Then, on January 20th, put those skills into action during Lobby Day! Over a free breakfast, you'll connect with legislators and put your training to use, making your voice heard on the issues that matter most to you and your community.
