Mark Your Calendars For These Fun Children Activities

Cheyenne has a large variety of entertaining activities for the kids to do this upcoming weekend. Here are some great ideas to get children active and enjoying this holiday season.

December 20th-21st : 1000 Faces of Santa. 10am-5pm. A large and unique collection of Santa Clauses from the 20th Century form all of over the world will be on display at the Paul Smith Children's Village. This is part of the Thom Wise Collection which was featured on HGTV. Free event.

December 20th-21st: Elves off Their Shelves. 10am - 5pm. Come and see if you can spy the different elves throughout the Paul Smith Children's Village. This event is free.

December 20th : Holidays Around The World. 2pm at the Laramie County Library, Burns Branch. Learn how the holidays are celebrated around the world from Mexico to Germany, United States to Africa, and many places in between. There will be fun crafts, games and music.

December 21st : Children's Holiday Tea. 1pm at the Historic Governors' Mansion. Children ages 5-10 with an adult can join in on the special celebration. $8 per person.

December 21st : The Polar Express Pajama Party. 3pm at the Cheyenne Civic Center. Come in your pajamas and watch this classic movie as you enjoy some hot cocoa. Adults - $8, Children - $5.

December 22nd : Young Readers Book Party. 1pm at the Laramie County Library. You are invited to a book party! For children in grades Pre-K - 2nd. They will read and talk about books, sing, play and learn!
