Hell on Wheels Rodeo- Series Finals

Come see bucking broncs, swift-moving barrel racers, and fearless cowboys at the Hell on Wheels Rodeo. Featuring Bull & Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing & Roping and a Chuck Wagon Dinner, this is Cheyenne's top rodeo outside of Frontier Days. A must-see for locals and tourists! Gates open at 5:00pm; Chuck Wagon Dinner is served at 5:30pm; Rodeo begins at 7:00pm. Watch and enjoy the finalists!

Cheyenne's Farmers Market

Cheyenne's original and longest-running farmers market returns this week in the Cheyenne Frontier Days parking lot. Hosted by Community Action of Laramie County, it is one of CALC's largest annual fundraisers. It is the only farmers market in Cheyenne that accepts EBT/Snap benefits and has token programs for those that qualify to access fresh, local foods. See you at the market!

Girls' Day Out: End-of-Summer Edition

Grab your flock of gal pals for one last summer girls' day in Downtown Cheyenne! Girls' Day Out: End-of-Summer edition is a celebration of making memories, shopping local, and (most importantly) treating yourself. Experience a mix of makers, specialty retailers, artisans, boutiques, and unique local businesses. Coffee, cocktails, beauty experiences, live music, wellness activities and more will also be available. End summer feeling flocking fabulous!

Exhibition Opening for A Prescription for History: The Life and Legacy of Jim Gatchell

Presented by the Wyoming State Museum, come view the debut of the Jim Gatchell exhibit at the state capitol. Hailing from Buffalo, WY, Jim Gatchell was a pharmacist that established his pharmacy in Buffalo, WY in 1900. It became a staple of the town while he became a friend to many. Through the years, he acquired many artifacts, artwork, and more from American Indians and Wild West figures. Come see this amazing exhibit that highlights Wyoming and Wild West history.

Flower Broom Workshop

Gather in the garden and create your own flower broom. Craft beautiful flower brooms using flowers and grasses that grow in the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens. Say good-bye to summer and welcome cool nights of fall with a decorative and timeless handmade creation. All materials are provided, although they will vary depending on seasonal availability. Be sure to pre-register ahead of time.
