Cheyenne Art Walk

Occurring every second Friday of every month, the Cheyenne Art Walk takes place at different participating businesses throughout Downtown Cheyenne. Chronicles Distilling is this month's featured venue where there will be art on display, LIVE music and more! View all the locations and events on the Arts Cheyenne website.

Brianna McFarland - Featured Artist

Brianna McFarland returns for this month's Art Walk. Her contemporary wildlife portraits combine realism with a touch of whimsy. They capture the untamed spirit of the American West. From Casper, WY, she has something for everyone from stickers to original acrylic paintings.

Fridays on the Plaza: Ayron Jones

Aug. 14 | 6:00pm | Cheyenne Depot, 121 W. 15th St

Ayron Jones' brand of rock doesn't push boundaries, rather it breaks right through them. His gravelly voice is able to hit the upper registers, accompanied by his dynamic guitar work. Drawing from the traditions of grunge and hard rock, Hardforce describes his music as "a true melting pot of rock, grunge, R&B, hip-hop, and even classical music."

2026 Wyoming Aviation Festival & Air Show

Aug 15 & 16 | 10:00am-4:00pm & 10:am-5:00pm | 300 E 8th Ave

Returning for its third year, the Wyoming Aviation Festival & Air Show will take place at the former 1960 airport terminal and proposed Arts & Aviation Center. There will be a thrilling air show with a tremendous group of aviators along with an astounding static aircraft display. Sure to be fun for the whole family!

Depot Days

Aug. 15 & 16 | Cheyenne Depot Museum & Gift Shop, 121 W. 15th St

A multi-day event featuring access to the UP Steam Shop– the home of Big Boy 4014. Tour the Heritage Collection in the Roundhouse. Visit the Cheyenne Depot Museum and see Harry Brunk's Union Central & Northern model railroad and more. Trolleys will run continuously from the Depot to the Steam Shop and Roundhouse from 9:00am-3:00pm.

Promoting Our Woman Warriors

Aug 15 | 7:30am-4:30pm | Laramie Co. Community College, 1400 E College Dr

The Cheyenne and Sheridan VA Health Care System teams, along with the Wyoming Veterans Commission invite all women Veterans to "Promoting Our Women Warriors (POWW)". POWW is a free a full-day opportunity for women Veterans to gather together, network, and learn. Breakout sessions include a variety of topics to have something for Veterans of all eras.

End of Summer Foam Party!

Aug 15 | 10:00am-12:00pm | Laramie Co. Library, 2200 Pioneer Ave

End summer with a splash at a foam party hosted by the Laramie County Library. Be sure to wear your swimsuits and bring your towels because you will get wet. Ice-cold lemonade and popsicles will be available as well for you to snack on while the youngsters enjoy the foam. Celebration will be on the east lawn of the library.

The finest charity Classic Car Show in the Tri State region returns for its 7th year! Automotive enthusiasts get together to celebrate the motoring lifestyle and raise money to help improve the community. This year's charity recipients are Veterans' Rock, Rooted Cheyenne, Family Promise of Cheyenne and The Arc of Laramie County.
