Join In The Dogtoberfest Celebration

The Cheyenne Animal Shelter along with Freedom's Edge Brewing will be hosting the 3rd annual Dogtoberfest  in downtown Cheyenne on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021. Festivities will be held at Freedom's Edge Brewing, located at 1509 Pioneer Avenue, from 1-4 pm. You will not want to miss out on the beer, food trucks, a costume contest for dogs and humans alike, and most importantly, there will be a “Running of the Wieners.”

Running of the Wieners is sponsored by Wags and Menace Make A Difference Foundation. Registration is $25 per dog (yes, they will accept wiener mixes). Check-in for the races starts at noon, and the races begin at 1 pm.

There will also be a “Mutt Round” where non wiener-dogs are welcome to race. Please note: there are only 5 spots for this Mutt Round, so if you’re interested, please register ASAP!

Freedom’s Edge is brewing a special beer for the occasion, so come early to grab a glass before it runs out! Come early and stay late while supporting a great cause! We’ll see you downtown on October 23rd!
