Get Your Tickets: Comedy That Cares Welcomes Tim Meadows Tomorrow Night!
The first season of Comedy That Cares has featured some big names like the Unaccompanied Students Initiative, Climb Wyoming, and Recover Wyoming--and of course there have been some great comedians too.
Started by local comedian Dominic Syracuse, Comedy That Cares is a monthly comedy fundraiser series that brings nationally recognized comedians to Wyoming. The mission? "Supporting non-profit organizations and charities by generating funds through the joy of live comedy."
100% of show proceeds and ticket profits directly to local causes.
It all began in January with Dude Dad's "Parents Night Out". Since then, shows in Cheyenne, Laramie, and Casper have featured comedians like Cody Woods, winner of the 2024 World Series of Comedy, Matt Bergman, known for his Amazon Prime and Dry Bar Comedy specials, and Second Chance Comedy, a group of comedians who bring humor to their experiences with addiction and recovery.
For the final show of the season, they've pulled out all the stops, welcoming SNL alum and comedy icon Tim Meadows to the Cheyenne Civic Center on Wednesday, June 10th at 7:00 PM. This show benefits Comea (Cooperative Ministry for Emergency Assistance), one of Cheyenne's most essential community resources since 1965.
Tickets are on sale now at the Cheyenne Civic Center website. Come out, laugh loud, and help COMEA keep doing what they've done for Cheyenne for nearly 60 years.
