Experience WWII History At The AirPower History Tour In Cheyenne!
Get ready to step back in time as the National Air Tour of Historic WWII Aircraft arrives at the Cheyenne Regional Airport from August 14-18, 2024. This unique event will showcase iconic aircraft from World War II, including the legendary B-29 Superfortress FIFI, the T-6 Texan, and the RC-45J Expediter.
Not only will these historic planes be on display, but you also have the rare opportunity to take flight in one of them! For an additional fee, you can experience the thrill of soaring through the skies in these remarkable aircraft.
Admission to the event is $20 for adults and $10 for children aged 11-17, with free entry for children 10 and under. Your ticket also includes a complimentary tour of the B-29 cockpit, when the aircraft is available. All tickets are purchased on-site on the day of the event.

The B-29 Superfortress FIFI was the most advanced bomber of World War II. This bomber was designed to fly higher and faster than enemy fighters and brought an end to the war.
The T-6 Texan was the legendary trainer of World War II. Aviators were taught how to fly in the same type of trainer.
The RC-45J Expediter was used during World War II as a multi-engine trainer. It was also used for light cargo transport and general transportation duties, most often as VIP transport.
