Don't Miss The Upcoming Free Pancake Breakfast This Wednesday & Friday!
The annual CFD Pancake Breakfast, served by Kiwanis of Cheyenne, kicked off on Monday in downtown Cheyenne. Thousands of people were served a free, hot breakfast on Monday, and thousands more will be served this upcoming Wednesday and Friday from 7am -9am. The CFD Pancake Breakfasts take place in a closed-off section of the Depot Plaza.
Between the three mornings it is estimated that 100,000 pancakes will be served using thousands of pounds of batter. More than 475 gallons of syrup and 630 pounds of butter will also be used. Wednesday tends to draw the biggest crowds with it being Cheyenne Day. In the past as many as 15,000 people were served during the Wednesday morning breakfast.
