Celebrating 2019 "The Year of Wyoming Women"

Celebrating 2019 "The Year of Wyoming Women"

This year Wyoming is celebrating 150 years of Wyoming Women's Suffrage. In 1869, Wyoming became the first state or territory in the nation to give women their inherent right to vote and hold office (50 years prior to the rest of the women in the nation having the same rights.) From that time, Wyoming women have been blazing the trail to include: 1st Female Justice of the Peace in the U.S. - Esther Hobart Morris, and the 1st Female Governor in the U.S. - Nellie Taylor Ross.

The smart, strong, and determined women of Wyoming have continued to crush those glass ceilings in many different ways. There are so many great women for the world to look up to in all aspects of life from Education, Government, Banking, Healthcare, the Arts, Law, Real Estate, Science and Technology, Nonprofits and the list goes on and on.

#1 Properties is no exception when it comes to a company with phenomenal women succeeding and leading the way. In honor of celebrating Wyoming Women, we must give a shout out to some of the #1 Properties women that have made a difference in our community this past year.
