No need to be all blue in the winter months, there are still so many great adventures to be had! Load up the family to embark on a trek through the Happy Jack area for this winter hike event. Please bring snowshoes or crampons, and of course warm clothing, water, and snacks to best enjoy this thrilling event. There will be a five-mile option and a shorter kid friendly route available. If you would like to rent snowshoes, please visit Rock on Wheels for great solutions. If you have base access you can also rent snowshoes at Outdoor Rec. A heart patient who will share their journey. An off-duty paramedic who will discuss the importance of calling 9-1-1, and hands-only CPR training. Plus, CRMC's Cardiac Rehab will give tips on how to increase activity for optimal heart health, and a continental breakfast and heart-healthy lunch will be served.
